I've been on death row since I was 18 years old . 
I never killed anybody.
With the help of art I'm fighting to save my life.

KENNETH REAMS' LIFE

As a native of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, Kenneth Reams was born to a 15-year-old teen mom in 1974.
His childhood in harsh poverty was defined by abuse, neglect, hardship, and later crime

KENNETH REAMS' CASE

At the age of 18, Kenneth Reams who is African-American was sentenced to death as an accomplice in a botched robbery that resulted in the death of a white man named Gary Turner.
He became the youngest in- mate on death row in Arkansas

In solitary confinement for the last 25 years, Kenneth has pushed back the walls of his cell to become a painter, a poet, the founder of a non-profit, and an art event organizer – while fighting at the same time for justice.
